High Soaring Inc. provides Tow services as well as administering the glider safety program at the Immokalee Airport.
 
USAF Aux Civil Air Patrol has established a glider flying program to benefit CAP members in South West Florida, Through there efforts they have moved a Blank L-23 Aircraft to the area and conducted a few Cadet Orientation rides. High Soaring looks to a bright working relationship with this fine organization. To reach the Civil Air Patrol contact your Local Squarer or find it by the CAP web site www. High Soaring is sponsoring the Pancake Breakfast every third Sunday located at the Main Terminal at the Immokalee Regional airport form 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Local time. All welcome, Donations Accepted: proceeds used to continue future events at Immokalee.

High Soaring is adding a gliding academy 
 
Package 1- Beginning flight     Cost $ 4,360.00
This is for someone new to flight and assumes no previous experience. Upon successful completion cadet will have approximately 15 hours of flight time, 50 glider Flights, and an FAA Privet Pilot Glider Certificate.
This course consists of 10 days of very intensive training, and includes:
Books, Classroom instruction, Flight Instruction, Supervised Solos, Glider rental, Tow Aircraft Fees,
One written FAA Test fee, One Oral – Practical Exam Fee
Estimated meals and lodging $ 1,400.00 if staying in the town of  Immokalee.
Things Cadet responsible for: Lodging, transportation to and from airfield, Meals, additional aircraft and Tow charges outside the course, Personal gear.
 
Package 2- Advanced flight    Cost $ 2,685.00
This is for someone with previous flight experience and holds at least an FAA Privet Pilot Certificate. Upon successful completion cadet will have approximately 8 hours of flight time, 28 glider Flights, and an FAA Privet Pilot Glider Certificate.
This course consists of 5 days of very intensive training, and includes:
Books, Classroom instruction, Flight Instruction, Supervised Solos, Glider rental, Tow Aircraft Fees,
One written FAA Test fee, One Oral – Practical Exam Fee
Estimated meals and lodging $ 700.00 if staying in the town of Immokalee.
Things Cadet responsible for: Lodging, transportation to and from airfield, Meals, additional aircraft and Tow charges outside the course, Personal gear.
High Soaring assumes no responsibility for Cadet Housing, Transportation or meals.
Cost are estimates based on local ( in the Town of Immoakalee ) available Hotel accommodations and Restraints.
 
30 day advance reservation for the academy is required, academy runs twice a month with a limited number of cadets.
